Thought going grey was a nightmare? Constantly worried about disguising those ‘white ones’? Feel as though you are too young to be going grey? WELL DON’T! Grey, silver, ash, pewter, salt and pepper or steely grey hair, no longer implies that its wearer has given up. A woman brave enough to wear her hair silver is showing the ultimate sign of confidence, liberation and style!
Start slowly and gently with an ice cool blonde rinsed with a silver toner or take the plunge with an all-over grey. We have enjoyed transforming many colours in salon, to their beautiful, natural form and the results speak for themselves. If you are thinking of taking the plunge and embracing your silver side, then have a chat with one of the Indigo team on your next visit.

1000 Mile Month for Indigo’s 10th Anniversary
To celebrate Indigo’s 10th Anniversary our staff will be running 1000 miles between us in the month of May 2016. We have 13 eager team members raring to go and raise money for Guide Dogs. Whether it be running, walking, skipping or twerking, we are all looking forward to the challenge and raising lots of money for a very worthy cause. To make things even better, Aveda are making a donation, Indigo is throwing in £1000 and the guys at Barclays Bank have agreed to match every £1 we raise. So let’s raise as much as possible! We will be recording our progress on FB with a link to make a donation and a photo diary to keep you all in the loop!
Any keen runners with any hints or tips will be much appreciated, as we need all the help we can get! Let the training commence!
New way To Pay – Ping it – PayM
Indigo is introducing a new way to pay in salon. PingIt is a mobile payment service that allows you to send and receive money using just a mobile number. PingIt links your mobile number with your bank account and makes it easy to pay money straight into another account. No account numbers or sort codes – just PingIt from one mobile to another. All you need is a UK bank account, mobile phone and to download the PingIt App. It’s free, secure and fast. Anyone using PingIt can now make their payments to the Salon from their mobile phone by searching for ‘Indigo Hair Ltd’ which has the code ‘PINGITLJL700’. We also have PayM available to our clients. For more information please follow the link below to see if your bank supports the Apps and download either onto your mobile device.
As kindness is our middle name here at Indigo, we have put together a small prize for the 50th new user to PingIt or PayM.
Winter Weather – Caps and Brollies
Is there anything more frustrating than realising that the heavens have opened just as you are about to leave Indigo after a colour, cut and blowdry! Whether your car is parked round the corner or you still have a few bits to get in town, we have the answer to prevent your sleek and styled hair looking like something that demonstrates a ‘BAD HAIR DAY!’ Indigo is giving away umbrellas or even a rain cap if you’re brave enough throughout the winter months to protect your freshly tamed locks against the ever changing elements. Feel free to ask us for your freebie at reception the next time it rains……or pours!
We would like to introduce and welcome our two new apprentices, Daisy and Fern to the Indigo Family.
Fern started with us in November having taken the brave move of a career change. Fern’s previous role was in PR and marketing but decided that hairdressing was more suited to her. We are really enjoying having her here at Indigo and we hope this is the start to a long and happy career in the world of hair.
As I’m sure some of you may already know, we are delighted to announce that Sinead our wonderful Creative Director is expecting her first baby in April. Don’t worry, she won’t be out of the salon for too long. So make sure you get your appointments in before she goes on maternity leave. We are very excited to have a new addition to The Indigo Family.
The Indigo Family enjoyed a Christmas Day Out at the end of November! A shock for us all, as we usually have our festive party in the Summer! We spent the early afternoon at Escape Live, where we had to work together to solve cryptic clues to be released in one piece! We then went on for food, fizz and a few beers at the German Market! A great time was had by all and a few sore heads to prove it too!
Our aim at indigo is to provide a calming and relaxed experience, giving people personal and wearable hair that makes them feel good about the way they look and gives them confidence. Created by a passionate yet approachable team who focus on building lasting relationships with clients, the industry and each other. This is what sets us apart from the crowd. Indigo loves you!
We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you all in salon soon.
