Indigo reflects the vision of award-winning Director Neil Hopkins who has drawn upon the best elements of over 20 years worth of insight and experience gained in locations across the world. This very new and innovative salon brings together all of the best aspects of hair dressing and shows exactly what the contemporary client experience can be.

The environment at Indigo is relaxed, welcoming and highly professional. The interiors enhance the high quality natural Aveda products which line the shelves and which are underpinned by the strong ‘back to nature’ brand philosophy.

Visitors to Indigo are greeted by two cool and calm spacious cutting floors. Subtle tones of grey, beige, cream and white contrast perfectly with polished dark wood floors, stylish metal work, textured slate and rough-edged heavy oak counters. Clients can relax in generous leather sofas while surfing the internet, enjoying complimentary refreshments or even booking their next appointment on-line.

Staff at Indigo undergo regular training and education in the latest techniques, product applications and customer etiquette which ensures the ultimate in hair care advice, style tips and an important personalised approach to client care. All training is undertaken at the central Aveda Academy in London to rigorous standards.

Neil supervises and informs every part of the running of the Indigo salon, apprenticeships, staff development and he also supervises the growth of successful client relationships. He balances this carefully alongside creative projects with leading industry visionaries such as Eugene Souleiman and Martin Cullen. These partnerships have seen him work on hair for runway shows with designers such as Alexander McQueen, Yohji Yamamoto, Stella McCartney, Issey Miyake , Antonio Berardi and Comme des Garcons in just the last year.
