Selfie Competition
We are launching a Selfie Competition in February, following your experience here with us at Indigo. We would like to see your favourite selfie after your colour, cut or blowdry. The competition will run throughout the month of February and entries can be made via FB, Twitter and Instagram using the #mytimeatindigo. Prizes include Colour Conserve Shampoo and Conditioner for our favourite colour selfie and a styling product for the most impressive styled selfie. We’ll keep you posted of further details on our social media sites.
1000 Mile Month for Indigo’s 10th Anniversary
To celebrate Indigo’s 10th Anniversary our staff will be running 1000 miles between us in the month of May 2016. We have 13 eager team members raring to go and raise money for Guide Dogs. Whether it be running, walking, skipping or twerking, we are all looking forward to the challenge and raising lots of money for a very worthy cause. To make things even better, Aveda are making a donation, Indigo is throwing in £1000 and the guys at Barclays Bank have agreed to match every £1 we raise. So let’s raise as much as possible! We will be recording our progress on FB with a link to make a donation and a photo diary to keep you all in the loop!
Any keen runners with any hints or tips will be much appreciated, as we need all the help we can get! Let the training commence!
New way To Pay – Ping it – PayM
Indigo is introducing a new way to pay in salon. PingIt is a mobile payment service that allows you to send and receive money using just a mobile number. PingIt links your mobile number with your bank account and makes it easy to pay money straight into another account. No account numbers or sort codes – just PingIt from one mobile to another. All you need is a UK bank account, mobile phone and to download the PingIt App. It’s free, secure and fast. Anyone using PingIt can now make their payments to the Salon from their mobile phone by searching for ‘Indigo Hair Ltd’ which has the code ‘PINGITLJL700’. We also have PayM available to our clients. Is there anything more frustrating than realising that the heavens have opened just as you are about to leave Indigo after a colour, cut and blowdry! Team News
We would like to introduce and welcome our two new apprentices, Daisy and Fern to the Indigo Family.
Daisy
Daisy started with us in September and is studying at college to gain her qualification in hairdressing. She is enjoying her training and is looking forward to developing her skills in salon.
Fern
Fern started with us in November having taken the brave move of a career change. Fern’s previous role was in PR and marketing but decided that hairdressing was more suited to her. We are really enjoying having her here at Indigo and we hope this is the start to a long and happy career in the world of hair.
Great News
As I’m sure some of you may already know, we are delighted to announce that Sinead our wonderful Creative Director is expecting her first baby in April. Don’t worry, she won’t be out of the salon for too long. So make sure you get your appointments in before she goes on maternity leave. We are very excited to have a new addition to The Indigo Family.
The Indigo Family enjoyed a Christmas Day Out at the end of November! A shock for us all, as we usually have our festive party in the Summer! We spent the early afternoon at Escape Live, where we had to work together to solve cryptic clues to be released in one piece! We then went on for food, fizz and a few beers at the German Market! A great time was had by all and a few sore heads to prove it too!
